Vietnamese food is famous for its traditional dishes, which are still prevalent in Vietnam. The cuisine primarily consists of five variety of tastes. Every meal has a different flavor and ingredients. The traditional Vietnamese food is famous for its fresh flavors and ingredients. These foods contain a shallow use of milk or oil and dramatically relies on herbs. With the use of a variety of spices, these food are fresh and are considered healthy.

Traditional Vietnamese Food: Pho

Pho is a famous Vietnamese food known by people all around the world. The dish uses warm chicken or beef broth along with flat rice noodles. The soup seasoning requires various spices, herbs, and sauces.

Traditional Vietnamese Food: Bun Cha

The dish is unique with a mixed flavor of fruits,  vegetables, and meat. The recipe preparation requires fresh noodles,  barbequed pork, and fish sauce along with carrot, herbs, and papaya. In many restaurants, the customers get a privilege of cooking the dish themselves. They provide with a bowl of boiling broth. All they need to do is add the noodles and the other ingredients. The recipe is commonly known as Obama noodles in Vietnam under the name of someone who visited and ate the dish.

Bành Mì

Bành mì is one of the best examples of franco-Vietnamese food. These dishes are an infusion of various flavors, tastes, and ingredients of the two countries. Some fresh crispy baguettes that fill with meat, egg or fresh vegetables along with the moreish flavor sweet sauce is available in the streets of Vietnam and various other stalls and restaurants.

Bành Cuón

These are little rolls that have seasoned and marinated pork, and chopped wood ear mushroom fillings. These are covered and wrapped in rice batter created by the process of fermentation. The entire roll is then dipped in a fish sauce. This dish is not only famous for its unique taste but also for the reason of its existence. In many restaurants, the recipe is garnished and seasoned in front of the guest.

Gói Cuôn

Most of the typical local Vietnamese food is fried,  boiled, or grilled. People often look for some fresh food. Gói cuôn is a famous dish to eat during the summer.  They are commonly known as summer rolls. The spring rolls are made by tightly wrapping prawns,  pork, and crispy salad. The food is serving with a sweet and spicy combo dip garnished with peanuts.

Chè

The dish is a dessert soup sweet in flavor. It has a unique flavor and filled with a variety of ingredients. The recipe has a variety of taste including grass jelly,  kidney beans, coconut cream, and tapioca fruit. The dish is available throughout the year. The dish tastes its best when served with handfull of crushed ice in summer.

Hu Tieu

Hu Tieu is the only dish that has evolved as a famous Vietnamese food among various other recipes that wanted to make the top list in the country. The popularity has made the dish popular in different other countries of China and Cambodia. Hu Tieu is a soup made of pork bones. However,  every ingredient of the recipe from noodle type to the type of meat varies as per the countries. The dish is famous for its unique taste and flavors.
